Classes at Family Farm Fabrics

Are you a Beginner, Dreamer, Previous Sewer, or Proficient Seamstress who wants to learn a new technique? Look over our classes and decide what will help you take that next step in your sewing experience.

Bring your machine or use one of our Baby Locks; either way, please arrive 15 minutes early to set up and get your materials out, as the classes begin promptly.

Payment is due when you sign up for the class. If you need to cancel, a 50% refund will be issued up to 2 weeks before the class date. No refund will be given if you cancel within 2 weeks of the class date.*

Fabric and notions purchased on the day of signup and on class days will receive a 15% discount.

Enroll 5 of your friends in a class with you and for fee will be waived!

*If we need to cancel, your class cost will be refunded in full or you may apply the cost to another class. We will try to notify you 3 days before the class date, unless it is an emergency cancellation, such as instructor illness or weather conditions.

Pillowcase Class - Sewing With Sally

Do you have a child or grandchild that is wanting to learn to sew, but you’re not sure where to start them? This is the class for them!* Instructor Sally Mittlestadt will take them through all the steps of making this easy, beginner level pillowcase, while teaching the young folks many sewing techniques. You will leave the class with a finished pillowcase! Ages 8+ welcome!

Join Jody as she walks you through one of her newest patterns, My Favorite Backpack Purse. She’s been making them for years and has all the tips on what -and what not- to do. These backpacks are great for vacationing; Jody loves it in NYC. These backpacks are also perfect to add to your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes in November. Teens & Preteens are welcome to come!

Join Jody for one of her favorite patterns, Bold & Beautiful. If you like all the new fabric panels that are too beautiful to cut up, you’ll love this pattern!
